The International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC), known for its high quality standards and strict evaluation criteria, has awarded the 2024 alcohol beverages. Our Lingoncello liqueur was honored with a gold medal, while Gustav Dill Vodka won a gold medal in the Vodka & Tonic category, being selected as the world’s best Vodka Tonic for the fifth time. Gustav Dill Vodka was praised for its aromatic dill scent, herbaceous balanced flavor, and excellent composition.
Lingoncello is a domestic counterpart to Italian limoncello. The liqueur is crafted here in Kuopio from Finnish lingonberries with over 170 years of craftsmanship. The product has aroused great interest both domestically and internationally. In May, the Lingoncello team was joined by Peter Franzén. Additionally, the company’s Gustav Cassis liqueur was awarded a silver medal. This rich and aromatic blackcurrant liqueur has been praised for its excellent taste and high quality.
“It is a great honor to receive such recognition in this prestigious competition. These awards are a testament to our passion for creating high-quality and authentic flavors, and our company’s philosophy of From the Forest to the Glass,” says Kirsi Räikkönen, CEO of Lignell & Piispanen.
