The data that we collect from you is stored within the European Economic Area (“EEA”) but may also be transferred to and processed in a country outside of the EEA. Any such transfer of your personal data will be carried out in compliance with applicable laws. For transfers outside the EEA, Lignell & Piispanen will use Standard Contractual Clauses and Privacy Shield as safeguards for countries without adequacy decision from the European Commission.

Lignell & Piispanen does not sell your information to third parties. We do, however, share data with third parties when necessary to fulfill a transaction, complete a service, for administrative purposes, or when required by law. Any data that is forwarded to third parties is used to meet Lignell & Piispanen’s commitments to you. Lignell & Piispanen may also supply your personal data to organisations such as credit reference or debt collection agencies for the purposes of credit checks, identity checks, monitoring credit rating and debt collection. Additionally, we will share your data if such sharing is required by law or to protect against potential or suspected fraud.

Once we receive your transmission, we have technical and organisational measures in place to help protect your data from loss, manipulation, unauthorised access, etc.
We only use cloud services that have encrypted storage and secure access to facilities.
Where possible we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption of data transmitted over the web. SSL is a function that encrypts all information sent between buyer and seller, including card information, so that card details cannot be read by external parties.
